This position, based at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO, plays a vital role in supporting the U.S. President, Secretary of Defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels.
Relocation assistance is not available for this position, and this role is on-site with no remote options.
Position Overview:
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is a crucial part of the Missile Defense System. It is an essential operational system that enables the U.S. president, the secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, monitor battle progress, and actively control designated networked sensors and weapon systems to achieve global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC provides a layered missile defense capability that delivers an optimized response to threats across all ranges and flight phases. It functions as a force multiplier by networking, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations both worldwide and locally to enhance overall performance. Additionally, C2BMC is a vital component of all system ground and flight tests, which verify and demonstrate the current and future capabilities of the missile defense system.
The System Test Team manages the planning and analysis of all MDS ground and flight tests related to the C2BMC program. Flight tests are conducted with specific sensors and shooters.

- Responsible for the planning of all assigned test events, with emphasis on developing and implementing the test artifacts required for each event:
- Test objectives
- Architecture
- Data Item Descriptions
- Defense Designs
- Sensor Resource Management (SRM) settings
- Operational Tasking Data Link (OPTASKLINK)
- Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI) configuration and Forwarding Tables
- CDS
- TDACS
- TRAUT TDACS
- Comms Connectivity Matrices
- Event Configuration Baseline (ECB)
- System Adjustable Parameters (SAPs)/Site-Specific Parameters (SSPs)
- BDR and PR applicability
- Certification Data Packages
- The position also provides the following support:
- Planning phase reviews and meetings
- Customer boards and meetings
- Data Management
- Interface with developers
- Government personnel during event execution phases, when requested
- Anomaly resolution and troubleshooting
- Support the analysis group
- Failure Review Boards (FRBs)
- 1 year of prior experience on the C2BMC program in any capacity
- Self-starter with strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment with government clients and both internal and external personnel within the program
Basic Qualifications:

- A Bachelor’s Degree in STEM Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university is preferred, along with 8 years of experience; or a Master’s degree in a related STEM field with 6 years of relevant work experience; or PhD in a related field with 4 years of relevant work experience
