$30–35/hour + $5,000 Sign-On Bonus

Schedule: Rotating schedule: Week 1: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM | Week 2: Tuesday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM

In your day-to-day, you will:

  • Deliver exceptional nursing care for Internal Medicine patients throughout diagnostics, treatment, and recovery.

  • Assist veterinarians with advanced medical procedures, diagnostics, and patient treatments.

  • Place IV catheters, perform accurate drug calculations, and administer medications safely and efficiently.

  • Monitor anesthesia and support patients during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

  • Perform in-house laboratory testing and prepare samples for outside laboratories.

  • Assist with diagnostic procedures including radiology, ultrasound, ECG, blood pressure monitoring, and glucose monitoring.

  • Obtain patient histories, vital signs, and weights while providing client education during outpatient appointments.

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care for hospitalized patients, including treatments, diagnostics, medication administration, and accurate medical record documentation.

  • Conduct pre-admission evaluations and discharge appointments while communicating treatment plans and patient updates with clients.

  • Maintain complete, accurate, and legally defensible medical records.

  • Participate actively in nursing rounds and collaborate on patient care plans.

  • Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams.

  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture.

What You Bring

  • Licensed, Certified, or Registered Veterinary Technician (LVT, CVT, or RVT) preferred, or a Veterinary Technician with at least five years of Internal Medicine experience.

  • Minimum of two years of Internal Medicine experience preferred.

  • Strong technical skills including IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, medication administration, and advanced patient nursing.

  • Experience performing laboratory testing and assisting with advanced diagnostic procedures.

  • Strong understanding of veterinary pharmacology and Internal Medicine patient care.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational, computer, and multitasking abilities.

  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and hospital safety standards.

  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.
