We are seeking a motivated, experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Prescriber (PMHNP) to Join our STRONG Day Treatment Program in Milwaukee, WI. STRONG stands for Successfully Treating and Reaching Our Next Generation, and is a National Health Service Corps (NHSC)-approved site. This position is part-time, approximately 20 hours per week. As a part-time employee, you will still be able to contribute to our 401(K) plan and employer match policy.
What you will be doing:
Providing physical and/or psychiatric clinical assessments, along with diagnosis and prescribing services for clients enrolled in our STRONG Day Treatment Program in Milwaukee, WI. The PMHNP works in consultation with other members of the collaborative health team as the client's condition and treatment goals warrant.

In this position, the PMHNP is expected to oversee and manage the high-quality services that our clients can expect to receive when coming to our organization. These services include, but are not limited to clinical and diagnostic assessments, case management, treatment planning, and refilling prescriptions in a timely manner. Additionally, this position will need to assess risks presented by clients through symptom presentation and provide medication education to clients. This position will work closely with and need to communicate regularly with the Clinical Director, therapy team, primary care team, and also the medication management team to ensure quality care.

Requirements
- Master of Science in Nursing - Psychiatric/Mental Health.
- Wisconsin Registered Nurse License.
- Wisconsin Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Specific Specialty Certification is required.
- One (1) year of post-grad NP/CNS experience within certification specialty desirable.
- Three (3) years of RN experience required.
- Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) (or equivalent) as a Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist, Psychiatric/Mental Health
- Current and in good standing DEA Certificate
- No professional healthcare sanctions or exclusions
- Must meet requirements for major health plan provider credentialing requirements to be fully credentialed within 90 days of hire
