As a Security Professional - Warehouse Site - Part Time in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a leading tech, media, and telecom location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing prompt, professional customer service to everyone you encounter. You will also be expected to communicate clearly with team members and visitors, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere while upholding our core values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation. Pay Rate: $18.19 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within a tech and media-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and observe for any unusual or suspicious activity, reporting findings according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Support a secure environment by maintaining visibility and presence throughout the location, assisting employees and visitors as needed.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual occurrences encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address site-specific concerns and provide recommendations for improvements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
