A childcare worker is responsible for the overall care and supervision of children in a childcare setting, including monitoring their safety, providing age-appropriate activities, ensuring their basic needs are met, fostering their development, and communicating with parents regarding their children's progress and well-being; key duties include planning and implementing activities, feeding children, changing diapers, maintaining a clean and safe environment, observing children for developmental concerns, and implementing developmentally appropriate disciplinary measures when necessary
