Position Specific Description

Under limited supervision, this job strives towards continuous improvement and applies diversified knowledge of principles and practices to broad variety of assignments and related fields.  Develops broad knowledge and skills in a specific practice area. Evaluates, selects, and applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform a task or sequence of tasks for conventional projects with few complex features.  Collaboratively uses judgment to determine adaptations in methods for non-routine aspects of assignments.  Works on project portfolios the energy trading organization, including voice, network, and server infrastructure projects.  Supports development of standards and engineering guidelines, conducts analysis on system performance and reliability strategy and provides recommendations.  Manages infrastructure engineers to ensure tracking in Jira is accurate and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

 

Primary (Essential) Job Functions:

•    Project management, negotiations, performance tracking and reporting
•    Manage, report out and coordinate with accounting on financial project tracking, including accruals
•    Some facilities experience
•    General knowledge in the utilities, energy trading and trading applications
•    Standards, policies, training, and support of organization
•    In-depth knowledge of IT Infrastructure
•    The ability to manage multiple work streams.
•    Develop and maintain metrics for new construction through a variety of dashboards for presentations.
•    Management of projects in Jira, Confluence, and budgets
•    Communications, presentations, and meetings and support
•    Research, development, and improvement measures
•    Self-starter who acts as a single point of contact for high complexity projects for the department
•    Work with other departments within organization to establish customer requirements and project costs.

 

Required Minimum Qualifications:

•    Education Requirements
•    10+ years of Project Management experience in a combination of the following areas:
IT Infrastructure/Network Management
•    PMP, SA or equivalent
•    Experience in Jira and Office
•    Working knowledge or networking

 

Preferred Qualifications:

•    Preferred Education – Some College
•    Preferred Experience – 10+ years of project management experience
•    Preferred Certification/License – PMP or CSM
•    Experience in Visio and Confluence
•    Experience with Electricity and Gas Marketing, Gas commodity products, and utility focused trading services and applications.
