This role involves conducting financial and compliance audits, supporting decision-makers, and collaborating closely with EU officials to ensure financial accountability and transparency.<br/><strong><br/></strong><strong><strong>The key responsibilities of this role will include:</strong></strong></p><ul> • Supporting clients in the application and interpretation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), including assistance with transition to IFRS from other frameworks<br/>• Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting financial data using advanced tools and data visualization techniques<br/>• Evaluating clients’ financial statements to assess financial performance, cash flows, and forecasts<br/>• Designing and implementing effective financial controlling frameworks, including FP&amp;A, budgeting, and cost accounting<br/>• Supporting finance transformation projects, focusing on process improvement and end-to-end optimization<br/>• Preparing and analyzing both historical and projected financial information for internal and external use<br/>• Conducting industry and economic research to support client decision-making<br/>• Developing complex financial models and conducting valuation analyses using various methodologies<br/>• Creating compelling client-facing presentations and marketing materials<br/>• Working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, while actively learning from and supporting colleagues<br/>• Managing your deliverables efficiently and aligning with project timelines to ensure exceptional client service </ul><p><br/></p><ul> </ul><p><strong>To be successful at this role you need the following </strong><strong>(hard and soft skills)</strong><strong>:</strong></p><ul> <li>Solid understanding of IFRS standards, with hands-on experience in IFRS implementation or transition projects<br/>• 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in Audit, Financial Reporting, Accounting, or similar fields<br/>• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline<br/>• Enrollment in or completion of ACCA, ACA, IESOEL, or METKEL programs is highly desirable<br/>• Familiarity with finance systems (ERPs, BI tools) is considered an asset<br/>• A proven track record of working with multiple clients and delivering high-quality outputs<br/>• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex financial data<br/>• Experience working in teams of qualified professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment</li> <li>Effective communication and rapport building skills</li> <li>Ability to deliver work of highest quality, documented in accordance with our company’s standards</li> <li>A customer centric approach to finance and business operations</li> <li>An extremely high work ethic</li> <li>Motivation for career progression and development</li> <li>Ability to gather and correlate correct date</li> <li>Experience in a multinational company or public accounting firm</li> </ul><ul> </ul><p><strong>What’s in it for You?</strong></p><p>At Grant Thornton Greece, we believe that great work deserves great rewards!
