POSITION SUMMARY

Join a vibrant, well-established group of 9 radiologists providing services for the Bethesda Healthcare System in Boynton Beach, located in coastal Southern Florida/Palm Beach County since 1972. Bethesda Radiology Associates, a Radiology Partners Practice, has a top-notch staff who have an excellent reputation in the community, as well as strong rapport with administration and referring physicians. This healthcare system includes Bethesda Hospital East, Bethesda Hospital West, Bethesda Health City Out-Patient Center, and Bethesda Health Urgent Care. This position ideally requires a fellowship-trained women's imaging radiologist and would include serving as a director for our established, cutting-edge center, replacing a recently retired director. Our women's center is already successfully providing all aspects of care including mammography with tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, breast MRI and biopsies. We also offer genetic counseling and testing, as well as primary breast care and physical exams via our nurse practitioners. Also, our multidisciplinary breast board provides integrated, individualized care to our newly diagnosed breast cancer patients. This is a 1-year partnership track position, with participation in an equal share of practice revenue/bonuses and revenue growth as well as participating in an equal amount of evening and weekend call.  The amount of day-time general radiology is negotiable, but would likely be 1-2 days per week, with the remainder of the time being spent in the breast center.

All of our radiologists have fellowship training, and we have a strong sense of camaraderie. We approach our practice and our clinical responsibilities as a team - often discussing cases or covering for each other when the need arises. Many of our Radiologists came from training into this practice and have been in the practice ever since; several have been in the practice for over 20 years. Although most of Radiologists are partners, we also have a radiologist employed in a part-time capacity who is a vital member of the practice and has been with us for over 25 years!  We think it's our prioritization of lifestyle that makes our practice a place you never want to leave.
