<p>About the Role:</p>
<p> </p>
<p>We are looking for an enthusiastic analyst to join our Capital Management and Financial Modelling Team. The role provides an excellent opportunity for the successful applicant as it will provide fantastic experience in implementing the Bank’s key strategic plans, such as the Synthetic Risk Transfer (SRT), capital efficiency initiatives, IRB development, Capital Planning and Capital Return, Risk Based Pricing (RAROC) and Stress Testing.</p>

<p>This role reports into the Head of Capital Planning, RWA and RAROC, and the successful applicant is expected to play a leading role in developing our SRT capability, expand the use of initiatives to reduce risk weighted assets and enhance our understanding and use of RWA consumption. </p>
<p> </p>
<p>Experience in capital management or SRT’s is not a pre-requisite; this would suit an ambitious candidate who has proficiency with financial data together with an interest in business and treasury. The role will provide great exposure to a wide range of areas like treasury, capital markets, finance and risk; together the project involves analysing risk and capital on lending portfolios, engaging with stakeholders and communicating concise, strategic messages to senior audiences.</p>

<p>Key Responsibilities Include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Developing and expanding our SRT programme</li>
<li>Enhancing our planning and forecasting of RWA </li>
<li>Communicating complex analysis to our stakeholders clearly, simply, and concisely which will help them understand what is driving the risk weighting of our assets. </li>
</ul>

<p>What you will bring:</p>
<ul>
<li>Minimum 3 years’ experience in Financial Services. </li>
<li>3rd level qualification (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent), preferably in a quantitative analytical discipline or finance related discipline.</li>
<li>An analytical mind-set, with ability to draw out key messages/insights from financial and management reports or data.</li>
<li>Commercial awareness and a broad interest in financial markets and economic trends.</li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills (incl. Microsoft office, incl. Excel and Powerpoint) with ability to communicate key messages concisely for senior audiences.</li>
<li>Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a small team, with attention to detail, completing tasks to a high standard within agreed deadlines</li>
