What You'll Do
As a Utility Maintenance Worker I, you’ll help maintain and repair our public infrastructure—roads, water lines, sewer systems, and more. One of your key responsibilities will be operating light to medium equipment to complete hands-on repairs and projects throughout the city.
You’ll also:

Assist with underground utility repairs and general maintenance

Work in confined spaces using safety ventilation equipment

Perform minor plumbing, electrical, and construction work

Operate tools, machinery, and vehicles in a safe and responsible way

Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for utility emergencies

Troubleshoot issues and respond to community infrastructure needs

Qualifications
What We're Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or GED
-
Experience in construction, agriculture, or facility maintenance preferred
-
Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs., climb, crouch, and work in confined spaces
-
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
-
Comfortable using tools, basic math, and following instructions
Certifications/Licensing:
-
Must obtain a Level I Certification in Sewer Collections and/or Water Distribution within 1 year (we’ll help you get there!)

Don’t have your CDL yet? No problem. We’ll help you train and earn your Colorado Class B CDL with Tanker Endorsement

Full-time position with rotating on-call responsibilities

Must reside in or be within a 30 minute commute

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen (We follow Federal Guidelines) and background check
