JOB TITLE:   

Web Coordinator - University Store   

JOB PURPOSE:   

Work closely with University Store Marketing Coordinator and University Store Buyers to publish content, maintain continuity of themes, design layout, streamline navigation, and increase online presence to potential customers. JFNTMP

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Must have Programming experience in: Python, HTML, JavaScript & .ASP
  • Works cross-departmentally with those who are responsible for providing website content
  • Creates new ways for users to interact with the University Store by creating visually appealing and intuitive online experiences. 
  • Ensures deadlines are met and products are delivered on time. 
  • Supports and maintains the visual and user experience design of existing website. 
  • Stays current and aware of emerging technologies and trends. 
  • Ensures user experience best practices and web usability. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

COMPETENCIES:  

  • Understanding of responsive design and ability to develop cross-browser/device compliant and fully responsive websites. 
  • Google Analytics experience. 
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment. • Desire to learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques. 
  • Organized, task-oriented, and deadline-driven. 
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Understanding of approval processes for and editing of online content to create text that meets the objectives of the organization's online presence. 
  • Ability to interface with content owners, programmers, and graphics staff to maintain web standards. 
  • Familiarity with web content management systems.

REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY: This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Programming Experience in: Python, HTML, JavaScript and .ASP
