Underwriting Associate Global Credit (Hybrid, 80%-100%, m/f/x/d)

About the Role

Become Operations Specialist for credit line of business (trade finance, trade finance, project infrastructure finance, political risk insurance) and support our successful Corporate Solution Underwriters and be part of the global structure.

Your main tasks will include the following:

• Review exposure utilization, releases and deal pipeline activities

• Process policies and amendments

• Reflect terms and conditions of underlying contracts and transactions in our systems

• Handling of premium calculation, payment reconciliation and invoicing

• Become point of contact for operational aspects to existing bank and broker business relationship

• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and vendors within a global corporate structure

• Ensure data quality and compliance along internal standards, guidelines and/or regulatory requirements

• Coordinate KYC process and monitor progress

Credit & Surety Operations is an emerging team redefining into a trusted partner, closely collaborating with the global Credit & Surety business teams. With passion, as well as our service and customer orientation we strive for high customer satisfaction and help the business to achieve its profitable growth aspiration. Our Credit Operations team services Trade Finance and other credit transactions and is embedded in an expert network across the regions Europe, Asia Pacific, as well as North and Latin America. We are continuously improving and evolving the underlying operating model and strive to standardize and improve processes.

Relevant professional experience

 

• Obtained professional experiences in Credit & Surety business, credit insurance, trade finance, commodity finance and/or equivalent

• Basic knowledge of international sanctions and AML

• Excellent command of written and spoken German and English (B2 or higher)

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics and/or equivalent degree or completed commercial education in insurance, finance and/or equivalent
