Pratt & Whitney is looking for a Systems Integration Engineer – Technical Publications to support the digital technical publications ecosystem for Pratt & Whitney's commercial engine programs. In this role, you will bridge software engineering, technical publications, business analysis, and project leadership to modernize, automate, and support systems that manage and distribute aircraft maintenance data. You will collaborate with customers, partners, software engineers, IT teams, and third-party software providers within the Commercial Engine Engineering Maintenance Data and Services Engineering (CEE MDSE) organization to support existing technical publications systems, expand publishing automation, and deliver new solutions that address the evolving maintenance data needs of legacy and GTF programs.

What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate with CEE MDSE software engineers, IT teams, and third-party software providers to provide technical support for change management, content management, publishing, reporting, analytics, and related technical publications systems.
  • Design, develop, integrate, and implement new systems and enhancements that support business objectives, improve the digital publications experience for customers, and expand automation capabilities.
  • Develop and manage project plans and business processes for technical publications system changes, including requirements definition, risk and dependency management, project execution, and continuous improvement of the CEE MDSE digital data thread.
  • Participate in all phases of the systems development lifecycle, including scoping, requirements definition, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support; monitor active projects to ensure successful execution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues within MDSE systems, perform root-cause analysis, implement sustainable solutions, and contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of the MDSE Strategic Technology Plan.

What You Will Learn:

  • Build expertise in the systems, technologies, and processes used to create, manage, publish, and distribute aircraft maintenance data across the commercial aviation ecosystem.
  • Develop hands-on knowledge of XML/SGML-based technical data and industry standards such as ATA iSpec 2200 and S1000D.
  • Expand your ability to design, integrate, enhance, and automate complex enterprise systems that support critical engineering and customer-facing processes.
  • Strengthen your ability to translate business and customer needs into technical requirements, solutions, and processes while working across engineering, IT, business, and external partner teams.
  • Gain experience leading technology initiatives across the full systems development lifecycle, from scoping and requirements through design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
  • Develop a broader understanding of how Pratt & Whitney's digital maintenance data and technical publications systems support legacy and GTF engine programs, airframers, airlines, and MRO organizations.

Qualifications You Must Have:
