All about the role:
In this role you will be reporting to the Laboratory Manager for Electrolux Major Appliances NA. You will be based in Springfield, TN and this role is onsite.
What you’ll do:
- Executes tests according to agreed instructions, including international and Electrolux internal standards.
- Sets up and prepares tests in terms of equipment, samples, area, materials and any other conditions necessary to properly complete the evaluation.
- Undertakes assigned technical tasks of low complexity under the supervision of professional colleagues.
- Uses existing procedures to support the daily laboratory activities. Receives instructions, guidance and direction from others.
- The Laboratory Specialist position may be preceded by a Lab Assistant entry point where new employees learn from colleagues and build up experience of our products and processes.

Qualifications Required:
- Currently enrolled in an associate's or bachelor's degree program.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Working knowledge of test equipment, including voltmeter dielectric tester (HiPot), gas monometer, etc
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD or other computer-aided design software
