<p>Welcome to Instrument Reference Data team. We add value by providing critical data across Trading, Risk and Finance. We are responsible for ensuring timely instrument reference data flows across the front-to-back business processes and drive the development agenda. As the Senior Analyst, you will play a key part in operating, defining and implementing trusted data solutions as well as contributing to our journey towards a simplified and future-proof technology and data architecture. <br/>
<br/>
What you will be doing:</p>
<ul>
<li>Contribute to the daily running of our data services </li>
<li>Drive user needs and data requirements specification and modelling across a wide array of business stakeholders </li>
<li>Ensure fit-for-purpose data quality management on instrument reference data – a key pilar to Nordea’s Data Governance Framework</li>
<li>Closely collaborate with product owners and Technology on the implementation of market data solutions across the full delivery chain - from refinement and prioritization of our product backlog through the solution design, user acceptance testing to the final delivery of data services to our consumers</li>
<li>Advise on instrument reference data and drive instrument reference data-related streams of larger strategic initiatives across Nordea</li>
<li>Have an in-depth understanding our data and how it is used across business areas and related processes</li>
<li>Contribute to our team culture and the continuous improvement of our joint practices </li>
</ul>

Your experience and background:</p>
<ul>
<li>The ideal candidate will have some years of experience in the financial sector working with within the Market Data or Instrument Reference Data domain either in a business analyst, data analyst, data steward or similar role, or prior experience from Securities or Derivatives operations development</li>
<li>You have a strong analytical mindset and are familiar with financial products</li>
<li>You are a strong user of SQL </li>
<li>Solid facilitation and communication skills</li>
<li>Previous experience with data modelling is an advantage</li>
<li>Prior experience with driving smaller projects or project delivery streams is an advantage</li>
<li>You must be fluent in English, both written and spoken</li>
