CSEngineering is looking to add T&E Engineers (Senior through SME) to our growing team! The positions will support the US Space Force, Space Systems Command in Test and evaluate appropriate configurations of hardware, software components, and/or communications networks, as necessary, to deliver stated levels of performance, interoperability, and maintenance support. Design, plan, and manage test programs. Support testing of systems and applications developed for the project solution. Analyze, evaluate, test, review, study, and document all testing efforts.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Outlined below are the critical responsibilities for this position:

• Senior:

1. Plays a key role in supporting the Command Test Organization and select programs, ensuring the delivery of robust and high-performance systems.
2. Analyzes, evaluates, tests, reviews, studies, and documents all testing efforts to provide comprehensive insights into system performance and adherence to requirements.
3. Provide specialized support for testing the evolving SSC current system DevSecOps, including automated code review, automated code testing, and automated security scanning to enable the delivery of software through a fully automated pipeline.
4. Conducts crypto testing to ensure the security and functionality of cryptographic components.
5. Conducts systems integration, installation, and testing to ensure seamless functionality and performance.
6. Supports the design and implementation of advanced or automated testing capabilities to expedite the delivery of system capabilities.
7. Ensures testing activities are effectively coordinated, planned, and executed as part of system life cycles and projects.
8. Conducts Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E) and Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) to cover all applicable domains and develop tailored Test Plans as required, specific to each program/system.

• SME:

1. Initiation, supervision, and development of project requirements, providing strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff.
2. Provides strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Conducts detailed analysis, and evaluation, and provides recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission-critical challenges/issues.
4. Collaborates with clients to define needs or problems and supervise the initiation and development of requirements.
5. Analyze and evaluate all testing efforts to facilitate the delivery of software through a fully automated pipeline.
6. Performs comprehensive testing of cryptographic components to ensure system security.
7. Conducts testing activities related to systems integration, installation, and overall system functionality.

• For both Senior & SME:

1. Tests and evaluates appropriate configurations of hardware, software components, and/or communications networks to ensure specified levels of performance, interoperability, and maintenance support.
2. Design, plan, and manage comprehensive test programs to support the testing of systems and applications developed for project solutions.
3. Ensures systems readiness by providing oversight of Test and Evaluation (T&E) activities for programs, including supporting the execution of system readiness reviews, certifications of system readiness, mission readiness, and flight readiness effective capacity planning and reporting to enable the prioritization of testing tasks and focus testing resources on critical SSC priorities.
4. Develop a Master Test Strategy that tracks and reports information such as test capacity, queues, priorities, completion status, performance statistics, and schedules.
5. Provides methodologies and develops test plans, test reports, product assessments, and testing procedures to ensure accurate, objective, and impartial verification of system tests in support of developmental and operational Test and Evaluation (DT&E/OT&E).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Security Clearance: Current Top Secret or TS/SCI or TS/SCI eligible

• 10+ years (Senior) or 15+ years (SME) of experience in test and evaluation, performance, interoperability, design, and maintenance of test programs.
