The Opportunity:
The Home Appliance Field Advisors support field technicians to improve their capabilities to provide the best quality of service to customers. Primary duties are to support Direct Mobile Service Technicians (DMSTs) in Home Appliance repair including technicians from other service networks.
Responsibilities:
Provide in person ride along observation and training to LG DMST
- Provide tips and training to improve DMST KPIs (NPS, Productivity, RTAT, etc.)
- Observe and provide guidance to vehicle management
- Address any organizational issues
- Improve DMST troubleshooting skills using test equipment and other devices
- Train DMST to improve time / route / tool managements
- Provide guidance to mobile devices and Apps
- Improve prescreening skills
Provide weekly reports on current activities
- Observations during ride along
- Make recommendations for improvements
- Provide clear documentation including photos
Virtual Meetings
- Review Performance documents on a weekly basis
- Weekly meetings with selected DMSTs
- Provide case review on a 1:1 basis
- Regular meeting with Area Service Manager and Field Service management
Case Studies
- Visit case studies from selected DMSTs
- Provide reports with detailed documentation to management
- Provide feedback to DMST and Management
- Best Practice Development
Product Evaluation
- Evaluate and review new products and create documents for training
- Evaluate Returned products, finding root causes and providing reports to each department
- Support Inbound Quality Control on a weekly basis in Product warehouses
- Visit case studies from selected DMSTs
- Provide reports with detailed documentation to management
- Provide feedback to DMST and Management
- Best Practice Development
Qualifications / Education / Experience:
- Minimum of associate’s degree, or technical training in appliance or technical related field.
- High level of PC knowledge such as MS Office, & possess excellent communication skills both written and oral.
- Minimum of 10 years working experience in consumer electronics and/or appliance fields.
