Department Name: Warehouse/Inventory

Reports to (title): Warehouse Supervisor

Business Unit: SCIW

Job Summary: Warehouse Associate must support our company’s developing warehouse operations. You will receive, input, sort, load and unload products and you will perform various warehouse activities. You will have a part in implementing new processes to better improve production and overall material handling at Shoreline Vinyl Systems

Essential Job Functions:

• Accurately place materials on shelves, in racks, or other designed storage areas in an orderly manner.
• Pull and pack parts according to departments work order.
• Inspect all incoming merchandise and shipping materials.
• Safely operate all the necessary equipment in the work area.
• Report errors to the responsible manager.
• Assists in shipping and receiving.
• Other related work assigned by manager.
• Rotating stock with FIFO practices
• Inspecting manufactured products for defects and damage.
• Picking inventory for production
• Putting away finished goods from production.
• Assist with inventory
• Additional duties as needed

Requirements

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Certified Forklift Operator or ability to obtain within first 30 days of employment.
• Have a can-do-attitude
• Basic understanding of computer skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 35lbs.
