About the role

Job summary
North American Customer Fulfillment (NACF) is seeking a Sr Manager of Product to join the Outbound and Flow team who will be responsible for defining and owning the future strategy and execution of the Staffing Command Center (SCC) product and program. This role lead the Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES) SCC team and will work backwards from the customer to ascertain the right requirements for the product and oversee its implementation programmatically, while also leading the expansion of Project TAZ across NACF.

The Sr Manager, Product is responsible for communicating, aligning on, and receiving buy-in from cross-functional stakeholders on their projects for all operational planning cycles as well as driving the early life cycle of projects from inception through beta testing and capturing of success KPIs. This role will lead a robust project portfolio that requires them to work closely with a wide variety of teams to ensure the best product is being delivered to the end-user.

  • Root cause opportunities and extract insights using a data driven approach
  • Think holistically and strategically to plan, organize, and drive complex and milestone driven projects to ensure end-to-end success for the user
  • Build tooling, drive process improvements, and work with service owners and cutting-edge technology to develop innovative solutions to complex technical challenges
  • Govern product development efforts, including research, requirements definition, metrics analysis, development, and launch efforts
  • Integrate device and software services while identifying, managing and influencing complex relationships concurrently across multiple internal teams
  • Handle business escalations with a data-driven approach to build trust with engineers and Senior Leaders
  • Take ownership of document/roadmap creation to support planning, design and operational readiness reviews
  • Create, maintain, and disseminate project information confidently and on a regular basis to Amazon senior executives, senior leadership teams, and key stakeholders.
  • Draw on customer feedback, usage and operational data, and your experience guiding products to set and deliver on extensive goals for adoption, operational performance, and feature delivery.

About the team
NACF ACES serves as the mechanism for operational processes and products that drive step level improvements to key business priorities: Safety, Speed, DEA, and Cost to support and optimize fulfillment. We provide product and program management and technical solutions to stakeholders across the supply chain. Our scope includes the evolution and enhancement of operational products through improvements in hardware and software and requires close partnership with multiple stakeholders.

A day in the life
  • Organize and lead cross-functional teams to improve and achieve specific business goals.
  • Collaborate with operations and other support teams to align on top business needs, focus areas, and feature updates needed.
  • Work with tech teams to develop and review product roadmaps, features needed, and progress.
  • Determine and present top KPIs representing scope on weekly business reviews (WBRs).

Basic Qualifications


  • 12+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • 6+ years of team management experience
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Masters degree

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $142,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $265,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
