Are you an experienced Engineering Manager who is passionate about delivering innovative, high-quality software solutions? Are you looking for an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment on products that will make a real impact? Look no further! We are seeking a talented Engineering Manager to join our team and help us deliver game-changing solutions to our customers.

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for delivery of 1-3 cross functional engineering teams. You will work alongside a Product manager and designer and together you will make data-informed decisions about the team roadmap and overall heading of the product.
Your teams will be truly yours to lead. Your Director of Engineering will act as your support and guide, and together you will decide what roles and team members you need to succeed. You will be the driver for staffing plans, hiring, promoting, etc.

Although we do not expect you to be coding, it is critical that you have a firm engineering background. You must understand the software development lifecycle in a SaaS company and be comfortable reviewing system architecture and code pull requests. But most importantly, you can challenge the team’s operation using your skills, knowledge, and experience.

✅ Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

• Leading 1-3 cross-functional engineering teams with a mix of skills and levels including front-end, back-end, mobile, full-stack, data, and quality automation engineers.
• Direct people management for 5-10 engineers. Mentoring, coaching, and growing your team for success.
• Collaboration with product managers and designers from your own team and across Mews.
• Delivery planning and roadmap execution.
• Maintaining and improving the quality levels of the product.
• Challenging the status quo and constantly improving team and delivery processes.

 

🤝️ You’ll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you:

• 4+ years’ experience as an Engineering Manager leading multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience working with geographically distributed teams in a hybrid environment is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Extensive Agile experience with different methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and Shape-up.
• Expert level knowledge of Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Burnups, Burndowns, etc.
• Excellent understanding of software development lifecycles, from concept and delivery through to support and maintenance.
• Experience building and maintaining a SaaS product is a plus.
• Experience with .NET stack is a plus.
