Summary

We are looking for a Machining Mechanic (f/m/d) for the “Assembly Stabilized Systems” division at the Oberkochen site as soon as possible.

The “Assembly Stabilized Systems” division produces stabilized optronic systems for land vehicles, which are integrated and used in various platforms of our international customers.
These systems are used to protect troops deployed abroad and to protect property.

Your Tasks

• Independent machining / reworking of mechanical parts according to the production documents

• Machining of high-precision opto-mechanical assemblies on a conventional lathe

• Reworking of mechanical parts/assemblies on CNC milling machine (Heidenhain control)

• Programming with Heidenhain

• Use of common machining processes (turning, milling machine, CNC and conventional)

• Independent selection of the necessary tools

• Checking the order for completeness and correctness

• Independent testing of machined parts and assemblies

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training as a cutting machine operator or similar

• Several years of professional experience with turning, milling machine, CNC and conventional required

• Confident handling of drawings and parts lists

• Very good technical understanding

• Good basic PC skills (SAP and Excel)

• High willingness to learn as well as a pronounced performance and quality awareness

• Independent working style, flexibility and ability to work in a team

• Good knowledge of German
