Salesforce Inc. seeks MTS Software Engineer in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Leverage full-stack development skillset to build responsive user interfaces, and backend integrations using Salesforce and open-sourced frameworks. Architect, design and implement and deliver tested scalable products for Salesforce Cloud Core. Design structured modules on both the Client and Server side with shared functionality that can be reused across projects, to save time and promote collaboration. Write Technical documents that encompass in-depth detail on structures, spikes, and manuals to enable others to complete tasks. Develop test strategies, design automation frameworks, and write unit and functional tests to drive up product quality, code coverage, efficiency, and automation metrics. Participate in the team’s on-call rotation to address complex problems in real-time and keep services operational and highly available. Collaborate with a team of engineers, product managers, user experience experts, and performance engineers to build new features our customers will love, adopt and use while keeping our trusted platform stable and scalable. Mentor others in the development of technologies, tools, and processes. Telecommuting is an option.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Networking, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or two (2) years of experience in the job offered.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Information Networking, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Python; (2) Java; (3) JavaScript; (4) GoLang; (5) Spring; (6) Kubernetes; (7) Docker; (8) Cassandra; and (9) SQL. 

Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Special Skills can be gained through academic coursework, scholastic achievement, or professional experience.  Telecommuting is an option.
