Connect your passion with purpose, teaming with people who thrive on finding innovative solutions to some of healthcare’s biggest challenges. This role will support Operations Management Process Development Team in the creation of various reports requirements for DHCS. The candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of claims processing, and the use of various operating systems for data SQL queries for QA and UAT testing. Here are the details on this position.

Your role in our mission

• Be a knowledgeable bridge between clients and staff to define, document and share business requirements and expected impact and help to identify risks/issues and provide input into mitigation plans.
• Evaluate work products to independently assess quality and reports findings. Assist in implementing recommendations as approved. Develop and maintain business analysis documentation for projects and tasks. Ensure documentation complies with established standards, policies, procedures, and best practices. 
• Help identify and coordinate a business analyst team’s duties and activities on projects and mentor team members by providing guidance and support.
• Analyze, plan, design, document and make recommendations to improve business processes to support client’s goals and work with the client to develop business specifications at the start of technical and non-technical projects and help verify that all requirements have been met.
• Analyze customer information, requirements, and product specifications to help define technical content strategy and plans, including interacting with customers and working with project teams to analyze, define, test, and implement technical solutions.
• Exercise your ability to use basic analytical or relational database software — such as Excel or SQL — to quantify the anticipated impact of work.

What we're looking for

• Five (5) or more years of customer/client service experience in customer-facing roles with three (3) or more of those years of experience focused on managing teams. 
• Healthcare or insurance industry requirements gathering required. Medicaid and/or Healthcare experience strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills and the ability to logically analyze and troubleshoot complex processes and programs 
• Ability to work with the customer and project teams to effectively derive, understand, and translate business requirements and to strategically assess clients’ business improvement opportunities and convey understanding to client. 
• Experience with Microsoft applications including project management and proven leadership skills and acumen.

• Candidate must live within commuting distance to our Roseville, CA office for this hybrid position. 
• This position requires onsite in Roseville, CA office 2 days a week, for face-to-face and client meetings

The pay range for this position is $74,300.00 - $106,100.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
