Job Description
Primary Function of Position:
The Service Contract Specialist will perform a full spectrum of contracts administration tasks including negotiation of Service contract and digital subscription renewals. Ensure all customer needs and requirements are attended to for all service and subscription contract related business.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating service and digital contract addendums and documentation associated with renewals and offerings
- Analyze contracts to ensure compliance to company policy, government regulations, and revenue recognition requirements
- Enter and maintain service and subscription contracts for active products in the SAP Database
- Process service and subscription contract billings for customers and distributors
- Generate and distribute reports for the purpose of monitoring and measuring service contract status and revenue
- Assist Finance and Field Service on contract collection activities
- Field questions from Customers and Internal business partners regarding customer fleets, billings, and purchase order status
- Support Field Service and Sales in the daily service contract activities.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum BA/BS preferred or equivalent experience
- A minimum 2 - 5 years of experience in contract administration, preferably in a medical device company
- 2+ years prior experience in negotiating contracts or inside sales
- Knowledge of standard legal terms and conditions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented, organized, and able to function in a fast paced environment
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Solid SAP, SFDC skills and a general knowledge of its reporting functions
- Proactive and ability to work independently
- Ability to manage multiple customer facing projects simultaneously
