As a Senior Staff Engineer on the Retail Planning Tools team, you’ll play a pivotal role by designing, architecting and leading/developing software solutions in our Wealth Planning/Financial Planning domain by working closely with product managers and collaborating cross-functionally with other squads. You’ll work on delivering an integrated planning experience between our wealth planners and clients managing complex dependencies between systems and experiences In addition to an earnest desire to help people, we are looking for the ideal candidate to complement the team’s existing talents. For this Senior Staff Engineer role, we are seeking a candidate with proven software lead/development experience in AWS leveraging AI coding tools to help advance our financial planning and wealth planning platform solutions. If you are an engineer with strong architecture and development experience, this may be an opportunity for you! Responsibilities:
- Design and develop modern cloud-based solutions in Financial Planning domain
- Improve operational excellence, efficiency, and maintainability of owned service areas
- Actively collaborate with Architects and other Engineering leads to solve problems and build new solutions
- Create and drive team’s technical strategy and roadmap based on broad and deep understanding of the domain area and team objectives
- Translate Product vision into effective technical solutions with emphasis on quality and forward progress on tech strategy
