About the role
- Arrow is seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant to support our operations. This dual-role position includes the proper loading & unloading, securing and transporting material, tools and equipment in a timely and safe manner to Arrow work sites. This position will also assist in processing, preparing/staging orders, material returns and maintaining inventories of materials, tools, and equipment. This position will assist in prefab operations, receiving shipment deliveries, verification of material received and condition, and assist with maintaining the office and grounds. The Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant will travel as required/directed, for the safe delivery/return of materials, tools, and equipment.
What you'll do
· Ready received material as requested and delivers materials, tools, and equipment to work sites.
· Travel as needed for the safe delivery of materials, tools, and equipment to all Arrow Electric project sites.
· Load/Unload trucks and trailers by hand and with material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) as needed in warehouse and work sites.
· Receive shipments from vendors and trucking companies, verifying material received is accurate and in good condition. Notify DOP of any damage. Assist in marking and storing material shipments by project.
· Assist in notifying PM’s and Field Supervisors of received material.
· Return materials from work sites and assists with return for vendor credit.
· Assist tracking of tools and equipment for projects from distribution to return.
· Assist with small tool and equipment maintenance and repairs.
· Maintain materials inventory in warehouse as instructed.
· Help with Prefab operations and assists with completion of project orders as needed.
· Assist with maintenance of office grounds and office repair.
· Complete and maintain documentation electronically or by paper filing system.
· Maintain PPE and safety equipment in good condition.
· Perform other job duties as assigned.

The minimum amount of education or formal training and experience that are required for this position:
