Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a PRN (Per Required Need) APC NP Family Medicine inpatient behavioral health to join our established practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

 

Responsibilities

Summary:Makes all professional medical judgments in care of patients seen. Completes H & Ps for psychiatric inpatient units and provides follow up care for patient's medical conditions.

 

Responsibilities:*Makes all professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen.*Manages the nurse practitioner/patient relationship.*Participates in systemwide health management initiatives.*Assists in the development and implementation of clinical and service standards.*Receives and resolves patient complaints.*Participates in the recruitment and replacement of other providers.*Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, literature review, in-services, and workshops.

Qualifications:Education: Educational experience, licensure, and certification commensurate with that of a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New MexicoNP in clinical practice.5+ years of practice preferred.Current New Mexico License required.Ability to effectively interact with patients to understand their needs and explain data Written communicationAbility to work professionally and in a collegial manner with colleagues in accordance with Presbyterian policies.Maintains professional growth and development Performs clinical duties and documentation in accordance with practice quality standards and ABFM quality standards.
