Part-Time Customer Service Representative
Location: Honey Springs Battlefield
Hours: 15-19 hours per week (primarily Fridays and Saturdays)
Position Summary:
A Customer Service Representative (CSR) serves as the first point of contact for visitors at Honey Springs Battlefield. This position plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and informative experience for the public. The ideal candidate is approachable, professional, and adaptable, with strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent guest service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly, answer questions, and assist with their needs during their visit.
- Answer and direct phone calls; process information requests accurately.
- Receive and direct visitors, including school tours, ensuring proper check-in and wayfinding.
- Handle daily financial transactions, including collecting admission and sales fees, processing payments (cash and credit), and reconciling totals.
- Stock and maintain the gift shop and assist visitors with purchases.
- Help maintain a clean and organized museum and reception area.
- Represent the museum with a high level of professionalism in all guest interactions.
- Work both independently and as part of a team in a flexible, fast-paced environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous customer service or retail experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends, and occasional holidays or evenings.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
