Job Summary:
Develops and maintains software from simple maintenance to moderately complex software enhancements/modifications. Provides clear specifications for programming.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
- Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- Bachelor's Degree: Preferred
- Three years' technical experience: Preferred
- Two years' HL7, X12, IHE or comparable interface work experience: Preferred
- Two years' Linux command line experience: Preferred
- Two years' programming work: Preferred
- One year Infor Cloverleaf Engine work experience: Preferred
- One year FHIR and API experience: Preferred
Basic Qualifications:
- One year system engineering and/or system architecture experience: Preferred
- Four years' of experience supporting healthcare environment
- HL7 experience
Essential Functions:
- Analyzes, develops and maintains software to meet requests/specifications. Maintains and develops software in a product team environment.
- Utilizes established standards for systems design, coding, documentation and distribution. Tests software per release checklist guidelines. Assists with the development and general installation of work plans.
- Develops and reviews training materials. Assists with maintaining operation level agreements with various end-user departments and enterprise business units.
- Helps with identifying potential areas where policies/procedures require development or change. Utilizes help desk computer software in conjunction with other regional facility and enterprise staff.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
