Urgent LPN Position - Private Duty - Farragut, TN

G-tube Care

Location: Farragut, TN

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 3 PM

Adoration Health is urgently seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time position in Farragut, TN. This role involves providing dedicated in-home care for a patient requiring g-tube management.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Must hold a valid LPN license.
• Experience: Previous experience with g-tube care is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform selected nursing procedures within the scope of LPN practice
• Provide patient and family teaching according to plan outlined by the RN
• Monitor patient's vital signs and make specific measurements and observations
• Monitor and record intake and output. Report significant changes immediately
• Observe, assess and record patient's physical and mental condition and reports any changes
• Administer medications as instructed and as ordered by the physician and instructed by the RN and document the patient's file accordingly
• Attend and participate in multi-disciplinary patient case conferences, staff meetings and in-service education programs as assigned

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN license in good standing
• Previous private duty, home health, hospice, hospital or skilled nursing experience preferred
• Active CPR certification
• Familiarity with electronic health records
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
