Cashier/ Food Service Worker - University Christian School

MMI Dining Systems is looking for a Cashier at University Christian School.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to work, but still have weekends free.  In this position, you will have a high level of interaction with students and facility so southern hospitality and friendliness is a must.  

The ideal candidate will be able to stand for long periods of time and have at least one (1) year of experience working as a cashier in a fast-paced environment and has the required math skills to make correct change without having overages or shortages. 

Additional responsibilities will include:

•      Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.
• Cash Handling: Accurately handle cash, credit, and debit transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of items at the cashier station and inform management of any shortages.
• Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and orderly cashier station and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
• Compliance: Follow all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
• Support: Assist with restocking items and supporting other cafeteria staff as needed.
