HR Generalist – Benefits & HR Operations

We’re looking for an experienced and proactive HR Generalist to join our team. This is a full-
time, fully remote role working Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM Central Time, reporting
directly to the HR Director. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare—preferably
hospice—and will focus on benefits administration, compliance, and HR operations across our
branches in Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Kansas.
Key Responsibilities:
-Benefits Administration: Take full ownership of employee benefits, including medical,
dental, and vision enrollments, as well as FMLA, leave management, and workers’
compensation.
-Compliance & Labor Laws: Ensure HR practices align with state and federal labor
laws, staying up to date on regulations across TX, OK, MO, and KS.
-HR Systems Management: Use Paylocity to manage HR processes and maintain
accurate employee data.
-Executive Support: Assist the HR Director with administrative tasks, special projects,
and strategic initiatives to help the department run smoothly and effectively.
-Employee Support: Serve as a resource for managers and employees, providing
guidance and answering HR-related questions in a professional and approachable
manner.
-File Management: Maintain accurate and organized employee files, including handling
background checks and other documentation.
-Orientation Support: Collaborate on orientation processes to ensure new hires feel
welcomed and prepared.

Requirements-You’re highly skilled in Paylocity and can maximize its potential for streamlining HR
tasks.
-You have a strong HR background in healthcare; hospice experience is a big plus.
-You’re detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in handling benefits, leave programs,
and compliance.
-You’re tech-savvy, with proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
-You work well independently and are proactive about problem-solving and learning in a
remote environment.
-You communicate clearly and professionally, building positive relationships with
managers and employees.
-You’re comfortable supporting leadership with key initiatives and administrative tasks.
