The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing services across various settings, including residential care facilities, behavioral health programs, substance use disorder treatment programs, crisis centers, and outpatient clinics. In this role, you'll conduct assessments, coordinate care, manage medications, provide health education, and ensure the highest quality of patient care while working alongside a dedicated healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments utilizing advanced clinical competence
  • Coordinate patient care with treatment teams and healthcare providers
  • Administer medications and monitor compliance with state regulatory standards
  • Create and implement action plans based on patients' physical and mental health needs
  • Provide health education, disease prevention, and risk reduction guidance
  • Monitor patient health status and coordinate specialized medical care when needed
  • Oversee infection control and facility health protocols
  • Manage medication inventories and coordinate with pharmacies
  • Monitor laboratory results and consult with healthcare providers
  • Document patient care accurately and maintain detailed medical records
  • Respond professionally to medical emergencies and crisis situations

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse license in state of practice
  • Must be comfortable providing telehealth services

Required License/Certification (one of the following):

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred for FQHC positions

Additional Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect and fingerprint check
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and current auto insurance
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Proficiency in electronic health records and computer applications
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities
  • Demonstrated crisis management and problem-solving skills
  • Physical ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and perform sedentary work
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing environments while maintaining effectiveness
