Collins Aerospace is currently seeking qualified candidates for a co-op software engineer in our Business & Regional Avionics Flight Management Systems department located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Teams are composed of cross-functional engineers working in an Agile environment (approximately 6-10 people) focused on the design and development of software-only products. What You Will Do:
- Expectations include participating in a cross-functional team daily and coordinating regularly with engineering and project management to ensure success of the product and program.
What You Will Learn:
- Learn software design, development, and verification for Collins ProLine Fusion Flight Management Systems.
- Understand the DO-178 process.
- Gain domain knowledge by contributing to software life cycle artifacts.
- Collaborate in a team environment and build your network.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
