Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding Physician Assistant - Bariatric Surgery to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. Kings County Hospital operates a world-renowned Level I Trauma Center, one of only three in Brooklyn, which serves 2.6 million residents of Brooklyn and Staten Island. Opportunity Details:
- Provide perioperative and weight loss management of bariatric patients in collaboration with our existing bariatric staff in the outpatient setting.
- Provide first robotic assist in the operating room after training and approval.
- Round on inpatient bariatric patients and provide post-op care including nursing orders, discharge. This will be in conjunction with the surgical residents.
- Preop patients for day of surgery.
- May be asked to do other tasks outside of the Bariatrics Division, but within the Department of Surgery. These tasks may include assisting with other trauma and general surgery clinics, operative procedures, patient rounding, or consults.
- May be asked to participate in QAPI projects and other tasks to maintain Quality Assurance and Patient Safety.
Qualifications
- Board Eligible or Board Certified by the NCCPA.
- Licensed to practice in New York State.
Wages and Benefits include:
Annual Base Salary: $131,127* - $174,836* based on 40-hour work week and years of state licensure.
The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $144,239** - $192,319**, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below:
- 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
