SALARY: $125,600 - $149,150, bonus and long-term incentive eligible

ROLE SUMMARY:
The Retail Sales Director, will be responsible for leading and managing our local Key account managers to achieve ambitious sales targets driving share and revenue growth for the Small Format Channel. This role will oversee the entire sales process from identifying opportunities to grow our key packages, to collaborate with our Category Management team, and developing strategies that help to grow our brands. This role will also be accountable for developing relationships with key stakeholders at Retail to foster brand growth by working with our KAMs to build monthly sales programs that drive the business. Additionally, the Sales Director will be accountable for partnering with our Wholesaler network and Commercial Teams to identify executional gaps and create the appropriate strategies to amplify execution and activation.
JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Developing and managing annual account plans for Regional Independents
- Developing and implementing promotional strategies to drive revenue growth
- Working with Wholesalers, and Retailers to sell-in brand promotions
- Manage and effectively utilize Sales and Marketing budgets
- Prepare and present business reviews to Wholesalers & Retailers and provide suggestions for programs to amplify the business
- Use category mgmt. principals to influence buying decisions
- Work closely with Wholesaler Partners to develop strategic retail plans to drive incremental sales programs at Retail
- In-office position
- up to 60% travel
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS/BA degree required, preference in business, finance, marketing or related field
- Knowledge of retail initiatives
- Advanced computer software proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- High level of expertise in analyzing information and making information based recommendations.
- Strong familiarity with syndicated data, software and measures is preferred.
- Effective communications/presentation, follow-up, administrative and organizational skills.
- Field and retail sales experience in the beverage industry or other consumer product industries.
- Understanding of wholesaler network/processes and wholesaler equity agreement.
- Ability to work and drive positive results in a fast-paced, team environment
