We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing our financial operations, focusing on accurate and timely bank account reconciliations, streamlining cash management processes, and overseeing project accounting.

As a key contributor, you will ensure our cash processes run efficiently, helping us maintain strong financial controls while driving continuous improvements. You will also take ownership of project accounting, ensuring the financial health of various initiatives across the company. Primary Responsibilities:

• Daily Deposits, Reconciling Sales, Reporting on any outstanding deposits
• Lead efforts to streamline cash management processes, identifying weak areas and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency
• Manage Bank Balances
• Create, send and collect on AR Invoices
• Responsible for preparation and/or review of account reconciliations and fluctuation analyses in areas of direct responsibility.
• Perform monthly and annual close responsibilities
• Prepare various financial reports and fluctuation analysis for management.
• Coordinate with the field to ensure they are using the deposit card program correctly, help with any SOP’s, and research any issues
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions including driving efficiency and effectiveness through use of technology.
• Ensure that all processes and procedures are documented and updated.

Education and/or Experience:

• Requires 5 years’ experience in accounting.
• Experience with AR billing and collections
• Experience with Netsuite preferred, or equivalent accounting system.
• Proficient in MS Excel including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
• Experience in process improvement and the implementation of technology solutions
• Retail, or other multi-unit experience with at least a $100 million+ revenue organization
• Must be detailed-oriented, a team-player, professional.
• Unquestionable work ethic and drive to achieve success.
• Must have a proactive approach and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively work with both internal and external customers.

Certifications or Licenses:

Working towards a CPA is a plus
