We’re looking for a Mechanic 4 to join our Patrol Division to perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance on our fleet of emergency vehicles in a mechanic repair shop. The Mechanic 4 plays a key role in repairing and ensuring our fleet of patrol vehicles is properly maintained.Examples of duties

Job Duties:
As a Mechanic Supervisor A, you will be instrumental repairing and performing preventative maintenance of our fleet of patrol vehicles. In this role, you will:
- Performs repair/maintenance and inspection related activities on vehicles and small engines
- Perform oil changes, lubrication, filter, proper fluid levels, radiator hose, batteries, etc.
- Checks lighting and wiring systems to ensure proper operation of emergency lighting systems, headlights, spotlights, taillights and parking lights
- Locates causes of malfunction by inspecting major component parts such as gears, rings, pistons, rods, gaskets, crankshafts, valves, seals, etc. Orders and installs replacement parts
- May inspect work performed by contract vendors
- May operate wrecker to recover and transport inoperative vehicles.

Work Schedule: Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday.
Compensation: $25.31- $46.41 Hourly
$2,024.80- $3,712.80 Bi-Weekly
