The Sr. Financial Analyst is a key member of the EU FP&amp;A team and will be based near Berlin (Dreilinden), reporting into the into the Head of the FP&amp;A, also based in Berlin/Dreilinden.</p><p></p><p><b>Job Description:</b></p><p><b>Your way to impact:</b></p><p>The core aspects of the role include consolidating and analyzing EU level financial data, budgeting, forecasting, analytics &amp; building complex financial models. The individual will establish the critical link of digging deep into the data including non-financial metrics to determine the causes of trends, identifying anomalies, spotting opportunities etc. and in the process help the business determine focus areas. The role will go further into helping the business make better decisions, pre-empt future trends and take corrective actions to ensure PayPal remains on track to meet its short-term and long-term goals.</p><p></p><p><b>Your day-to-day:</b></p><ul><li><p>Analyze and explain TPV, revenue, margin and other financial KPIs, including detailed weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual trend analysis across various dimensions of the business such as product, merchant segments, and regions; identify potential business <span>opportunities/risks.Drive</span> automation and best practices in financial analysis, reporting templates and modelling that scales across European markets to enable efficiencies and eliminate duplicate efforts.
