As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 &amp; Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for a</span><b> Gameplay Programmer </b><span>to join the team and help us in crafting the high calibre games our fans have come to expect.</span> <h3>Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li>Work on all aspects of the game.</li><li>Work closely together with the content departments to implement the needed game features</li><li>Translate design wishes into technical requirements</li><li>Deliver features in full and on time. UI, engine, tools - all aspects should be covered and executed.</li><li>Write robust and maintainable code</li><li>Be the first line of feedback on the features you are working on.</li><li>Be an active participant in the design and production of the game</li><li>Bring player perspective and technical expertise to the table.</li><li>Plan and execute complex projects and features.</li><li>Be transparent: regularly update stakeholders and production on your progress</li><li>Team player: continuously communicate and align with other team members</li><li>Mentor team members and support the Lead</li></ul> <h3>Requirements</h3> <ul> <li>5+ years of game development experience with c++ and proprietary engine</li><li>Expert in C++</li><li>Production experience with TDD</li><li>Production experience with ECS</li><li>Excellent feel for RPG systems and gameplay in general</li><li>Open-minded, willing to experiment and iterate over and over the feature</li><li>Concepts as state machines, pathfinding, AI routines should be second nature</li><li>Ability to think like a designer to create compelling and fun gameplay</li><li>Upper-intermediate English</li><li>You are a team player and willing to take responsibility for features, planning, and communication</li><li>Passion for making and playing great games.
