The Team:

Client facing role in the Reset Sales Team. Reset provides a risk management solution for traders in several products.

The Impact:

This is a key role in maintaining and growing the company’s revenue. The sales team is small, and the role offers exposure to several different products and clients. The role involves direct contact with traders and daily involvement in the risk management sessions. This role provides the opportunity to continue building the business by adding to the client base as well as contributing to Reset’s future offerings.

It is a very dynamic client facing role involving a good balance of client visits/interactions along with exposure to the more technical side of the runs. Internally, the position offers the opportunity to work with other business functions within OSTTRA as well as all teams within the wider Reset business line.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management – Build and nurture relationships with key clients, understand their needs, and provide solutions that align with our product offerings. This includes managing current client relationships as well as creating new client opportunities. The role involves client visits, entertainment, and travel.

  • Market Analysis and product development – Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in our industry to make informed product development decisions and adapt sales strategies accordingly.

  • Pipeline Management – Effectively manage the sales pipeline, from lead generation to closure, ensuring a steady flow of opportunities and timely conversion to revenue.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration – Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development and client support, to align sales efforts with overall business goals and ensure a seamless client experience.

  • Performance Tracking – Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to optimize sales effectiveness. This role involves direct contribution to the company revenue.

  • Product knowledge – Build in depth technical product knowledge.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

OSTTRA states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $150,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in sales or the financial services industry

  • Proven track record of success in fintech sales, preferably with experience in selling financial technology products or services.

  • Strong sales acumen with a demonstrated ability to understand client needs, negotiate effectively, and close deals.

  • Ability to effectively communicate and present, both written and verbal, to convey complex information and build relationships.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Relevant product experience – sales or trading

  • Previous experience cultivating relationships with traders

  • Previous experience with systems/applications such as Salesforce (or equivalent CRM), Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook
