Copenhagen, Denmarkfull_timeVerifiedPosted 30 Mar 2026

About the role

Are you ready to coordinate and drive commercial performance and cross‑functional account plans for strategic accounts? We are hiring a Strategic Account Manager in Denmark to shape the impact of our CVRM portfolio.

Our AstraZeneca Nordic Marketing Company employs around 550 people, with offices in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo, and Espoo. AstraZeneca Nordic is a recognized leader in its core therapy areas and aims to improve the lives of millions of people. This is a place where you are encouraged to challenge traditional ways of working and explore your curiosity. We drive innovative science, deliver key launches, and build close collaborations and partnerships within healthcare.

About the role

Do you want to play a key role in shaping the growth journey of a key AstraZeneca product in a dynamic market? As a Strategic Account Manager, you will have both the responsibility and freedom to influence strategy and execution in an area with strong potential for expansion. You will play a pivotal role in executing projects that increase sustainability and drive change in how healthcare is delivered to patients and assuring more patients receive the right, sustainable treatment to address a significant unmet need. You will identify local and regional business opportunities and set the direction for the cross‑functional team, ensuring robust account strategies are developed to achieve commercial targets.

In this role, you will identify and prioritize high‑value accounts such as hospitals and supply pharmacies, differentiating AstraZeneca’s brands in key areas to improve market positioning. This is a field‑based position expected to cover the North Denmark (Jutland) region.

Collaboration is critical, requiring close work with the local brand team to develop tailored strategies for each account and stakeholder. Your efforts will be crucial in achieving favorable brand listings, protocol inclusion, and increased brand usage through effective omnichannel planning and execution.

Leveraging data analytics, market research, and customer insights, you will identify growth opportunities and use tools like Veeva to track customer interactions and forecast sales. Your ability to deliver value‑based selling—highlighting the clinical, economic, and patient outcomes of AstraZeneca’s products—will be essential.

Building and maintaining strategic partnerships within the therapeutic area ecosystem is a vital part of your role. Staying informed on industry trends, market dynamics, and healthcare policies is crucial to ensure AstraZeneca remains at the forefront of the market.

Patient‑centricity will be at the heart of all your discussions and solutions, and you will support Transform Care projects. Throughout your business practices, you will demonstrate AstraZeneca’s values, ethics, and compliance.

Contract type

This is a 12‑month fixed‑term position with the possibility of extension.

Your development at AstraZeneca is a forward‑thinking company with a strong pipeline, a unique focus on environmental sustainability, and best‑in‑class delivery technologies. Join us and you will have a unique opportunity to help transform patient care in CVRM.
