Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist Gulfstream SMS managers with collecting and organizing site safety data  
• Work with Gulfstream investigators to investigate internal aircraft related incidents  
• Develop safety related communication  
• Assist the SMS data manager with updating safety data dashboards

 

1. Currently pursuing a bachelor or masters degree in Aviation Management, Aviation Safety Management, or related curriculum. Graduation date must be after on or after May 2025.  For Spring 2025 Internships, we will accept Fall 2024 graduates, only if you have been accepted into a Master's/PhD program for Fall 2025.
2. Knowledge and understanding of Excel, Power BI and other Microsoft Office Suite tools is preferred.
3. Basic aviation knowledge or previous aviation safety education or training desired.
4. Possess strong communication and analytical skills.
5. Ability to work well in a collaborative environment and demonstrate leadership initiative.
6. Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher and it must be maintained up to and throughout the internship.

• New graduate students should list their undergraduate GPA.

1. Preferred for an Intern to work part time at least 20 hours a week for the 14-15 weeks during the Spring and full time 40 hours a week for 12 weeks during the Summer.  
2. Must have your own reliable transportation to and from work.
