About the role

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Work Days: Holidays are required; infrequent opportunities for overtime
Rotation: May rotate between Methodist, University, and Riley hospitals

We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional individual to provide front-line administrative and communication support within Radiology Reading Rooms. This role is essential in ensuring smooth coordination between departments and supporting radiologists in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and manage incoming communications (calls, emails, voicemails)

  • Coordinate imaging and procedural requests with ordering offices

  • Track tasks and document interactions accurately

  • Support radiologists by placing calls, managing faxes, and handling requisitions

  • Load external imaging into various healthcare IT systems

  • Monitor internal communications and update worklists

  • Provide administrative and technical support to leaders and teams

  • Manage schedules and calendars

  • Coordinate meetings and travel arrangements

  • Process invoices and respond to inquiries

  • Address basic administrative and technical issues independently

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • 0–3 years of relevant experience; prior administrative experience preferred

  • Experience in a matrixed organization or complex work environment is a plus

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
