Position Overview

The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency is seeking a dynamic human resources leader to serve as the Manager of the Office of Human Resources (OHR). This is a key leadership role within the Division of Administration, responsible for shaping and guiding the full spectrum of HR operations that support the Agency’s 800 employees.

The OHR Manager will lead a team that manages transactions, classifications, interviews and selection, benefits, and payroll processes for Illinois EPA offices across the State of Illinois.

Ideal candidates are strong leaders who excel in managing staff, navigating HR systems, communicating effectively with current and prospective employees, fostering a team environment, and driving operational excellence.
