Building Engineer (50-75% International Travel)- Secret Cleared

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Building Engineer to join our Facilities Management team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with building automation systems, including Tridium Systems, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, and Tridium Niagara. The Building Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of building systems to ensure a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for all occupants. This position requires an active Secret clearance and ability to travel internationally 50%-75% of the time.

Responsibilities:

• Building Automation Systems: Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot building automation systems (BAS) with a focus on Tridium Systems, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, and Tridium Niagara.
• Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems.
• System Optimization: Analyze building systems performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
• Monitoring and Control: Monitor system operations through BAS to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Emergency Response: Respond to building emergencies, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary repairs to maintain safety and operations.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, system performance, and repair work.
• Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair work.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Training and Support: Provide training and technical support to building occupants and junior staff on building systems and controls.
