About the Role

Our client, a social media marketing company is seeking a 2D Animator. The project involves animating a proprietary character in several workout poses for posting on TikTok and Instagram Reels. The primary requirement is to create a looping GIF animation of the character performing various workout moves. The client aims to achieve a level of complexity slightly, allowing for more detailed and slower looping animations. This is a single job with the possibility of follow-up work. The expected delivery timescale is one month. The client is open to receiving offers for this job.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the client to understand the design and characteristics of the proprietary character.
• Conceptualise and animate the character performing various workout poses and movements.
• Ensure the animations are fluid, detailed, and loop seamlessly as a GIF format.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a 2D animator, with a strong portfolio showcasing character animation and looping GIF creations.
• Proficiency in industry-standard 2D animation software such as Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of animation principles, including timing, spacing, and character performance.
• Ability to create fluid and detailed character animations with a high level of complexity.
