Essential Functions:
30% Develop and manage projects for student professional & development programs, including those for the Institute for Leadership Advancement.
20% Market and support growth and synergy of student involvement in all programs.
20% Track quality of professional & leadership development programs on student development and retention; Collect data and create reports to demonstrate the impact of student professional & leadership development and assist with the evaluation.
10% Assist the director as needed in the successful operation of the Institute for Leadership Advancement’s overall outreach and executive education programs.
10% Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate student assistants.
10% Administrative duties for programming and other responsibilities as assigned by the Dean’s Office.

Preferred Qualifications
Education:
Requires a relevant bachelors degree. Master’s degree preferred.
Licenses/Certifications/Requirements:
None.
Experience:
Requires a minimum of 1 year experience in general project management, event coordination or student services experience. Ability to communicate both written and verbal with a variety of constituents including students, staff, and business professionals required. Prefer 2 years of experience.
Leadership:
Responsible for directing and monitoring the work of student and/or temporary workers.
Physical Requirements:
Job is physically comfortable; individual is normally seated and has discretion about walking, standing, etc. May occasionally lift very lightweight objects.
Working Conditions:
Standard working environment with possible minor inconveniences due to occasional noise, crowded working conditions and/or minor heating/cooling or ventilation problems. Near continuous use (>70% of the time) of a video display terminal.
