Position Purpose
UT CEM is a secure Cockrell School of Engineering applied research lab currently seeking a part-time Administrator to assist at our front reception desk for the Fall 2025 semester.
Responsibilities
Ensure visitors successfully connect with their CEM host.
Processing packages/deliveries, handling courier services, receiving/directing facility & IT service crews
Assist with digitizing paper records
Other administrative duties as required.
Required Qualifications
Current undergraduate student at the University of Texas at Austin.
Must be enrolled in 12 credit hours for the Fall semester.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows.
Working knowledge of basic office equipment and machines (copiers, printers, scanners, phones).
Effective written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
As individual will be scanning/digitizing paper records, U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal regulations on sponsored research contracts.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous relevant work experience.
Sophomore, Junior or Senior classification.
Salary Range
$15- $18/hour (depending on qualifications)
