Pharmacy - Supervisor - Vineland

Position Description

MAJOR FUNCTION:
Coordinates and promotes a smooth workflow within the Pharmacy department. Ensures Pharmacy meets patient needs by maintaining adequate drug supply. Supervision of technical staff. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

•        High School diploma or equivalent required.

•        Hospital Pharmacy technician experience preferred. 

Certification/Licensure:    

•        Registered New Jersey Pharmacy Technician required.

•        Preferred: Completion of a certified pharmacy technician training program or a passing score on the Certified Pharmacy Technician examination offered by the Academy of Pharmacy Technicians or the American Society of Health system Pharmacists.

•        Valid NJ Driver’s License required.

Knowledge & Skills:

•        Familiarity with materials management/accounting systems and computers required. 

•        Proficiency in Word and Excel required.      

•        Ability to lead a team successfully to support the overall objectives of the organization and department.
